What kinds of online payments methods do you accept?

As for now we accept paypal, credit cards & prepayment.

 

How is my online purchase shipped to me?

We ship with DHL.

 

Does BTC ship international orders?

As of now we only ship within Germany. Subscribe to our newsletter, to stay updated on this topic.  

 

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Normally it takes 1–3 days. Shipment can be traced on DHL’s website (www.dhl.de) using the provided tracking number.

 

Can I change the address I’ve provided while ordering, or can it be shipped to a DHL packing station instead?

When placing your order, you are free to designate a delivery address that is different from your billing address, and that includes DHL Packstations. If you need to change the delivery address after completing your order, get in touch with us as soon as possible, because your order will be shipped in couple of hours after its placed. I did not receive my order confirmation e-mail. What do I do now?

If you haven't received the order confirmation email in your inbox, you might want to check your spam or trash folder. If you don't find the email in spam or trash box, do not hesitate to write in to us at hello@berlinteacompany.com and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

 

What are the shipping costs for online purchases?

Within Germany, orders under € 50 are shipping for a flat shipping rate of € 3.95. Orders totaling € 50 or more are free. If you have any questions, just get in touch by email at hello@berlinteacompany.com.

 

Is it possible to change or cancel my order?

To make changes to an order or cancel it completely, please get in touch with us soon as possible, ideally within a day of your purchase. We won’t be able to cancel your order once it’s been shipped.

 

What’s your policy on damaged orders being delivered?

This shouldn’t happen. In case it does, please accept our apologies in advance. We will in most cases replace the order if the contents and packaging hasn’t been opened. Get in touch with us at hello@berlinteacompany.com, we will do our best to make things right.

 

What’s your return policy?

Unused items can be returned for any reason within 15 days of delivery. Get in touch with us at hello@berlinteacompany.com, we’ll do the needful. We will not pay for the shipping.

 

Where are BTC products available?

Our products can be purchased for now only on our online store, www.berlinteacompany.com We are working on expanding to retail stores. We will keep you updated as and when that happens, subscribe to our newsletter if you’d like to stay updated.

 

What makes your teas better or different?

At BTC we take a lot of pride in the teas we have in store. We will never sell you anything we don’t love ourselves. The teas we have are all from the finest estates in India. We have looked long and hard to find and discover truly unique teas. You will see what we mean when you try one or all of them. We work with estates that follow sustainable and responsible practices, for the tea and the workers.

 

How do you package your teas?

We package our products in a way that ensures they stay absolutely fresh when they reach you and for a long time after. Teas absorb moisture and odors very willingly. Our Aroma Bags contain an impermeable inner layer of aluminum, which protects your tea from the elements and ensures the flavor, fragrance and texture you expect from our teas.

 

I’m just getting into teas, which teas do you recommend?

We recommend them all. Each tea has its own character. You will just have to try them all and see which one works for you. Trust us, tea is beautiful.

 

What’s the best way to keep my tea fresh and amazing?

Store it at room temperature, away from light, air, strong odors and moisture. The Aroma Bags that our teas are delivered in are well suited for storage.
